Curbs

I have to go over a street curb in order to park my TT at the side if my house. Will going over curbs affect my hitch or trailer??

The height and speed of going over the curb will have the greatest impact. Can you place some boards against the curbing to make it more like a ramp. I would disconnect my sway bar and load distribution bars. Also watch out for any low hanging piping and framework.

Should not hurt the hitch or trailer but probably does not do the tires any favors. It depends on the curb if it is straight up and down? Since it is at home I would consider putting down a small ramp like a couple of 2 x 6's longer than the trailer is wide long the curb. this way the 5-6" curb is not as high.......... Any chance you can talk the owner of the curb (city?)to cut it down to make it like a driveway entrance.
