Danger For Your Dogs

FYI.......If you are giving your dogs these treats you may what to reconcider. They are founding that this product is killing dogs, there are over 500 dogs that have died from this product that they know of. The company that makes these treats is an American company, but they are made in China. For now the US is not taking it off of the market but it is under investigation by the FDA.

Thanks for the heads up. I usually make sure I don't purchase any dog food or treat made in China. Not sure where these treats come from but certainly won't get them.

Nice to know. We used to give those to our Racoons years ago as they loved them.

Gee Wiz...how many dogs have to die before anything gets done? It reminds me of how the city won't put up a speed bump in a neighborhood until someone gets hit.

Remember when some american company was buying "protein" from China to add to their dog food? The company was too cheap to buy real protein, and they didn't check what the China company was sending. Turned out to be melamine, which I thought they made countertops out of? Well, the melamine is poison, and a lot of pets died.
It isn't all China's fault, as just who is selling us this garbage? Yup, good ol' USofA corporations!

We had bought a bag of the chicken treats from Costco, but our dog had a bad alergic reaction to something, so we quit feeding her any treats. So we don't know if they caused it, but the we heard about the problems and just threw the bag in the garbage. Better to be safe than sorry.
Now she only gets treats made by reputable companies, either US or Canadian.
