Decal residue removal?

What have people used to get the residual sticker look off your camper? The decal is gone. The “goo” is gone. All that is left is a faded image. Thanks!

So I think you are saying that there is no actual residue, just a shadow where the decal was.
About all you can do is get a deoxidation wax/cleaner and a buffer and try to bring the gelcoat surrounding the shadow back to a glossy finish. It will make the shadow less noticable, but I doubt you will ever get it to go away completely.

On the front at the top of my rockwood 2507s 2018 its faded about 2 feet down. Its from where the roof ends down to the Rockwood decal. I wax it twice a year and wash it after every trip. Very disappointed after only 21/2 years. this is my second Rockwood and my last

X2 Agreed.

If the decal is gone and the goo is completely removed then the paint/gelcoat under the decal is faded (or not faded and the rest is) to a different color than that surrounding it.

Buffing will make it less noticeable but I agree, it will likely never be the same unless repainted/new gelcoat.

Art55, If you can find a gelcoat cap that doesn't fade/oxidize within a few years when left in the sun, let me know

NMWildcat, I think its the design with the bubble front. The top is almost flat coming off the roof, which gets direct sun. The rest of my trailer is in real good shape still has good shine

The angle definitely has something to do with it. My sides are good, but the front caps just never seem to last long no matter what RV I have and what wax I use.
Now that we are retired, it doesn't stay long in the barn anymore. It is what it is
