Dehumidifiers? Electric or Crystal?

Just had the third trip of our RV. Spent the weekend in Marbles Falls TX. Cold & wet but had fun anyway. We noticed a LOT of condensation around the front & rear windows. I looked up this problem on the forum & saw the suggestions about cracking the vents, windows, & using the fan in the bathroom. These helped but it was still bad enough to see running down the walls. So I look up dehumidifiers & found the electris & crystal types. Any suggestions?

We have wintered in Idaho and found an electric dehumidifier kept everything dry with the roof fan on. No moisture was noted in excess anyplace.

Best Regards,

Get the electric. The crystal will not keep the condensation at a proper level. We have our electric running and have to empty it once a day. The crystal will work in a small area only. You will also find the RV warmer with the dehumidifier going.

Thanks I really like the quick replies. MY wife is thermally challenged so the whole making the trailer warmer is a plus. How about in the summer? I guess that the condensation is not as bad? I have a 31' trailer should I get two or is one enough?

One will be enough. We run ours in the bedroom during the day and the living area at night.
