Delivery delays

Hi,

I ordered a new e-pro 20fbs in July last year (2021) and this week salesman say it is expected to be built on June (2022). This is a full year wait and even not sure about transportation delays that may add up. I have reservations early July.

Thinking of traveling from Quebec Canada to Indiana (15 hours) to get my camper once built to avoid further delays.

1) Are you aware of transportation delays I should expect ( once built until shipped)

2) Is it possible for a buyer to go get the unit on behalf of the dealer ?

Thanks

Probably a question for your dealer. Typically the dealer provides you with a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) to be sure appliances, plumbing and electrical systems all work and that you understand how to operate everything....

Happy camping with your new TT.

Have been camping since many many years. I know how to operate and if something is wrong, it will be wrong not matter. Minor things, I can fix. I can bring the usint to my dealer if bigger problems.

The dealer adds the batteries and fills the propane tanks during the set up.

I imagine that will leave you liable for the import through customs.
