Yep! They go up nearly a quarter then come down only 3 cents! What's with that?

$3.76 a gallon in Southwest Wyoming today. Our state just passed another 10 cent fuel tax this week!

They do that to play with your mind.

Example -WOW- gas went up to $4.00 a gallon last week, but now its down to $3.75. You think you're getting a bargain at $3.75 now but most people forget that it was $4.00 agallon last week.

Net result is that the price went up and then it was reduced by a fraction of the orginial price hike.

As soon as some "expert" says the price of bbl petroleum is going up in a month, it is immediately reflected the NEXT DAY at the pump. If the media would just not report it, it may not happen. Right....

What I did notice is how fuel costs were way low a couple months before the presidential election. Now a couple months after the inauguration they are way high. Hmmmmm.

Diesel today $3.99 a few days ago $3.89 a week ago $3.69

Ouch DW & I run 3 tanks each through our cars every week going to work. Thats well over 80 gallons a week......... Don't even want to talk about my bigfoot carbon footprint............. That doesn't even count the truck........... As a friend says..... It is what it is..... nothing we alone can do about it..............

Heading south for 2 trips this year, I guess the fuel costs would be what I would pay for airfare if I had to fly, so it's pretty much a wash.

No Way it has not yet changed anything. Where we go it takes a tank there & a tank back last summer $100 each way....... even if diesel went to $5 agallon it would then cost about $135 each way. Might cut running around once we get there a little.

We currently have 3 different weeks planned at the same place in Myrtle Beach. Won't affect or closer to home weekends either.......
