Dinette table advise

I just bought a 2013 Avenger. It has a fold down table to turn dinette into a bed. The table is in the slide out, its a u shape dinette. The problem is that the table leg is right at the floor and slide out floor, so it wobbles.

I was thinking about a pedestal but not sure if I can mount it on the slide out floor. Any ideas from the crafty hands on crowd here?

Spanko,

The legs are some kind of folding contraption. I have never folded it down to the bed, so really don't know how it folds. The table is free standing on these legs. Don't know if that helps

You probably don't want to mount a pedestal on the slide out because the plywood on the floor is too thin and the screws would likely go through and would scratch the floor when you close the slide.

Can you move the fold down leg where it is attached to the table bottom just a bit without sacrificing stability but allowing it to hit solidly on the trailer floor or slide floor?

Yea, that was my thought. I didn't know if I could bolt up through the bottom.

It is probably just mounted to the table with a few screws, no?

Yes, it would not be hard to remove the base, thats not the problem. What do you replace it with to make it more stable. The quick solution is just to put a piece of 3/4" wood under the leg that are on the trailer floor, about the difference from the slide out floor to trailer floor. Just though someone ran into this and come up with a nice solution

How about something mounted to the bottom of the leg?
