This is a typical weekend view for us and what keeps us going back - this is normal level and worst flood was 3.5 feet above the top of the river bank

Im in Kalamazoo. They just released news that it is going to get worse. They have to open some of the damns to release back water meaning downriver is going to get worse.

Ours would be sitting where that piece of dock is floating, plugged into the electrical box barley visible on the basketball pole. The water at the pole is about 5' deep. The normal water line is on the other side of the circled tree.
The river giveth and the river taketh away.

Our Ohio River, here in Cincinnati, is 2' above flood stage. Seagram's, in Lawrenceburg, IN., nearby is protecting millions of dollars worth of booze! We have a "Tall Stack" steamboat stranded between bridges, because of low clearance due to flooding.

The post above(#26) is on the Ohio. Not the worst I've seen, but bad enough. Can't wait to cleanup.

Sorry about your predicament. Just curious where the flooding is where your seasonal lot is. Hope everything is taken care of.

Either pontoons or some corner jacks like used on truck campers.
Jack the unit up as far as possible, perhaps even using extensions.
Around here we had several RV parks that transitioned to permanent resident affairs. Every two or three years they'd get flooded with several units destroyed. FEMA would provide some money towards a replacement and all was well for a couple years and then another flood would arrive. FEMA again stepped in, provided some money, and new trailers would appear again.
Then someone woke up and said "Why should we keep buying trailers that are just placed back in the same places where they were destroyed by flooding?" Now, you get one shot, period.
With homes that were built years ago in flood prone areas, FEMA and local governments are buying the property and no rebuilding is allowed.
Flooding is getting worse all over the place. More and more dirt is washed downstream and rivers are getting shallower and shallower where they slow down. Tends to make them wider and wider when spring runoff occurs.
Me? I live on a hill 131 feet above the nearest water (per the altimeter on my phone). If it makes it to my yard I'll have a lot of warning and there will be a lot of people moving before me.

I just heard the National Weather Service has predicted the Ohio River, at Cincinnati, could reach 60' by next Wednesday. This is 8' over flood stage.

Insurance should cover it with no problem.

That is correct. I am 2 hours away from my camper. Never would have made it in time to move.

Update to original post
My campground never called me about the flooding on Tuesday night. The camper next to me lives close to the campground and stopped by to check on their camper. They then called me about the rising water. I planned to go in the morning to move it but when I called the campground they said all the roads were under water and some of the people who tried to move their campers got stuck in the mud and had to be towed out.
The picture I posted was taken on Wednesday by my camper neighbor. I will post more pictures in a few days.

Just came back from looking at the 36CK2. It looks like this is the replacement for my 36CKTS. Working with the insurance now. Looks like they will be buying me a new one . Not sure how much out of pocket expense for me.
Also in search of a new seasonal campground. (Not near a river)

We are up high enough that it's doubtful we will flood (our neighbors' houses would be up to their roofs under water), but, being on a hill, we have been hit by lightning 3 times. After seeing the flooding, I think I'll take the lightning!

So sorry this happened to you. We have the Cedar Creek 36CK and love it also. It looks just like our fiver. Please keep us informed how the insurance was able to help and about your new trailer. Does the campground have any insurance that will also help? Maybe the cost of removing your trailer?
