Got it back in 2012 when we got the RV. Liked it so much, dumped Comcast and had dish put in the house. With it in the S&B, only $7 a month for the RV.
There are a lot of features that dish has that we like. Another plus is it was cheaper then Comcast!

I have had Dish 5 or 6 years, I got it so I can get all of my channels I get at home by taking a 211Z receiver from home and using a Pathway X2 automatic antenna. the receiver never knows I am not still at home and no extra charges or phone calls. Love it

we never had any Satellite before we owned our motorhome, now I'd never go back to 'normal' Cable tv options... a portable antenna, on the roof of the rv, and a fixed antenna on the cabin/house takes care of all our tv needs, no matter WHEN and WHERE we are...and it's all the same channels everywhere(Local affiliates change, of course, depending on where you are if you have moved too far from your 'normal' zip code)...

our receivers(3) also can be used anywhere - several in the house, one in the RV, or can even move one down to the 'guest cabin' if needed... it's all good. (watching it now, matter of fact) : )

We had DirectV for 12-15 years, then our bill just kept going up and up. We switched to DISH about a year ago and could not be any more pleased with it. We purchased a Playmaker Satellite dish and as long as we have open sky, we get great service no matter where we are.

We have a receiver specifically for the RV. We turn it on at the beginning of the season (April) and turn it off at the end (Thanksgiving ish). $7.00/month

We have Dish with a Pathway X2. Great reception and the pay as you go plan is great for camping.

Have had Dish about 10 years. Both our permanent house and RV. It works exceptionally well for our needs. For the RV we use a portable automatic Tailgater and up to 150' of RG6 cable. Have been able to get HD programming and local channels from coast to coast, except one place in a deep narrow canyon
I currently call every time my contract comes up and request a customer retention specialist who has always lowered my price.
So yep, we are happy with Dish.

We've had Dish at home for many years and overall have been happy with it so, several years ago we purchased a Tailgater and a 211Z. I didn't like the signal quality from the Tailgater so we took it back and got a Pathway X2 and it worked fine for a couple of years. I had a good year and bonused myself a Winegard Trav'ler and a Hopper2. We installed all of it ourselves, the hoisting it up on the roof was the hard part.

We recently sold our 5th wheel and bought a motorhome and have the same setup on the MH. We can get with Dish anytime and change our service location or if we aren't going to use it for a while i can get online and have it turned off. All of that is very simple and easy to do.
