We've never not taken extra water into the parks with us and have never taken loose ice in coolers. That just makes a mess. Even when we've flown down, we always packed reusable ice packs in our luggage.

As well, as Tim mentioned- Disney offers free ice and cups of water at all of their quick serve locations.

I don't think that's such a big deal.

You can still take strollers in. Just not huge ones and not wagons.

The ice machines in the Fort now charge for ice. Don’t know when it started but it was a couple bucks a bag at the ice machine in August.

Fort's been that way for a long time.

Hotel resorts don't, though.

august 2017 was free...crazy to charge for ice! lol

we are actually getting ready to cancel our trip to the fort we have reserved for august. we make the trip every year, and use our DVC at least twice in addition. we never renewed our annual pass this year, and really the hit on the exchange and the price increases yet again this year is really tough to swallo. we are still doing some trips to the US, but we are not taking our usual 3 week tour down to Florida.

for anyone thats looking, and in case the fort is full, ill likley cancel our full hook up site tomorrow!

We leave the Thursday night before Easter to go down. We have drove straight through a couple of times but never at night. I'm hoping to have an easy drive without as much traffic on the roads or gas stops. My main concern was that Good Friday would be a busy travel day on the interstates. Hope all that are heading down before us have as much fun as we have had in the past. It is definitely an expensive trip (especially for 2 teachers) but the kids love it. For our family it truly is one of the happiest places on earth.

It’s been mostly full in the 1300 loop the last couple of days, but a few empty spots here tonight too. Still lots of people, but not packed. The pool is popular, we can hear them. Glad the weather is decent so far.
