We are hopefully going back to Fort Wilderness July 23 if granddaughter can go, if not we will cancel. Granddaughter does not care anything about the parks. Hopefully get parked right beside Chip N Dale plus close to the pool. Granddaughter loves Chip N Dale from afar. Granddaughter loves marshmallows just not roasted. We hope to stay a week, maybe go to Disney Springs one day for granddaughter to get dressed as a princess

That's always fun. My daughter is out of the princess stage but will always be one to me.
I think we are either going to go conuing or rent one of those small 2 seat boats to just get on the water.

I'm just down the road at the Thousand Trails Orlando park and home alone since the wife and kids went up to PA. Let me know if you need anything while you're here.

It depends on what you get done. Just hair, hair + makeup, hair + makeup + dress, etc. If you had park passes, the experience in Magic Kingdom's Cinderella's Castle is much nicer. But we also haven't done it since they moved the location in Disney Springs out of the World of Disney store.

My daughter always liked it but I think Momma + I liked it more with the pictures we got out of it.

Does anyone have a suggestion on getting to The Fort and avoiding the dreaded I-4? Would be coming in on I-95 from Savannah. Thanks in advance!

I think I-4 is only really terrible once you get into Orlando. You can take the 429 toll road around and avoid it:

It doesn’t seem to bad if you get through Orlando before 3pm

That's part of the issue that is unavoidable. We will be getting into town around 6pm [emoji33]

From I-95 to Disney the fastest and easiest way to avoid I-4 Orlando construction is to take 417 from Sanford right to Disney

It is a toll road but worth every cent. I use it each time I go to Disney

If I did this right, $17 for for 4 axles:

But that tool was less than user-friendly!

Okay thanks. I’ll run that way next time. I almost hit someone in the construction zone a few times before.

I’m “local” right now and avoid I-4 in Orlando even when not towing when given the opportunity.
