New to TT life also. Winterized today. Unfortunately forgot to close off the hot water heater to bypass. Is this going to create a problem if I wait until spring to flush?

Antifreeze won't hurt a water heater as long as you don't turn the heat on. You bypass it so you are not wasting 6 or more gallons of antifreeze.
It will corrode the anode rod.
