Do not by from Albany RV in Albany NY

I bought a new 2015 rockwood pop up, spent 16K . One trip used and both refrigs have to be replaced. I took them 2 weeks before they looked at it and they nothing. No calls when it would be fixed, managers would not call. I went down to the office twice and they did not care. I will lose over a month of camping. They will sell you a camper and then don't want to know you. I would not recommend them to anyone. Do not buy form this company.

That is who I ordered my HW296 from. I hope I am not walking into a storm.

I am not sure your experience with them is that strange. This forum seems to be filled with stories of people waiting for RV service departments to get the repairs made. See "what is taking so long.." thread.

I cannot see how you can blame the dealership for a faulty fridge. That is Rockwoods fault/problem. The service is another issue. I get that.

Btw. What model did you purchase?

Do not buy from Albany RV

One refrig was cracked and the inside one did not get cold. I have a 2716G. The managers did not care and would even offer me any type of compensation. I have a camper that I can not use. There total disregard in this matter is what pissed me off.

That is a really nice pop up you ordered.

The outside fridge is a really cool item. A great place to keep cold drinks for the kids so they do not keep running into the camper.

I agree with Turbo. Might be time to get forest river involved.

But I would keep in mind that this could be a busy time for them. I also know the the low prices that drove me to the dealership also drive others. They sell a lot of campers. It is a huge volume dealer and as this forum talks about the quality coming off the forest river line is not that great. They could be flooded with trying to fix all these crappy campers.

I wish you the best of luck. I am sure it is very frustrating.

Looks like the RW Premier 2716G has an outside fridge option.
