Do you name your RV?

In June 2016 we purchased our brand new 2017 Rockwood 2504S Mini Lite and we are still in love with this awesome TT. We named him "Homer 2". Love the bunks for when the grandkids are with us and storage when they are not with us...added a rod to the bottom of the top bunk and we have a huge closet! Also added stabilizer bars as DH can't take the rock 'n roll. Added some other small improvements as well. We started with a nomad pop up ("Bob") in 1973 and after a tornado blew it away we up graded to a 1994 23 ft. Wilderness TT and named him "Homer". It was a wonderful little trailer that served us well for 24 years! He was just used up so we sold him to someone to use on a deer lease. We wanted another TT that had a couch and slide but wasn't too large to pull with our F150. I thought we would have to get at least a 30+ footer but then ran across the Mini Lite with the murphy bed and we were hooked! We intend to keep our "Homer 2" with us for another 20 years hopefully and we have nothing but good times ahead of us. Do any of you name your RV?

Glad you found your 'forever rv.'

We don't name stuff in our household. So we just call our REV, 'Rev'.
( I have trouble remembering names.)

I named one of my old Travel Trailers but I can't post the name here.

It had tons of "issues" and the name just came naturally

Ours has Sandpiper tattooed on it, and our longest road trip of the year is always at the beach, so that's her name. Pulled down the highway by Big Sally.

I'm probably going to get throttled for this but we have a Cedar Creek 5w and I just hate it. It seems every time we use it I bring it home and have to work on it. We are saving our pennies now for a different unit.

We call our Cedar Creek ........ P.O.S.

Depends on what I'm doing to it at the time, and how well the project is going.

We name some of our vehicles and some we don't.

Current motor home is named Brünhilde from the Wagner Opera, we play Ride of Valkyries when we head out. She also has "horns", on the front cap are a set of LED lights that resemble horns when they are turned on.

No clue where the name came from, it just fit.

Mine is a apex 300 BHS, so I need a name in reference to the movie naturally. Just having a hard time deciding.

DW and I have been talking about this for 2 weeks...

I think we've settled on our Chevy Silverado as "Archie", and the TT is "Edith".

Of course I do not name my RV. It is not a person or a pet. But as mentioned earlier depending how the project is going it may get a temporary name.

We've never named any of our cars or trailers BUT we now have an Arctic Wolf 285 so we have our first ever truck ordered. A short box extended cab 250 super duty diesel in race red. It's big and ungainly so we have named it Clifford.

I currently own three campers and they each came with their own name on the front.
They are usually referred to as "the 5th wheel", the "little camper", and the "big camper" (even though the Catalina isn't really what I call big).

I'd hardly characterize a Screw with short bed as "big and ungainly" !
