Does it exist????

My family are kicking tires on new 5th wheels. It can not be longer than 38' because of a 40' shop. All the floorplans we like are over 40'. Does Forest River make a model that is 35-38' with a bunkhouse? Outdoor kitchen is a PLUS, but not a deal breaker.

Jayco makes a 37' mid bunkhouse model 30.5MBOK. We do like the floorplan, but I don't know much about Jayco.

Take a look at the Prime Time 29BH it has a optional outdoor kitchen.

We just bought the Artic Wolf 315tbh8. It is 35 feet long and had a bunk house.

I had a Jayco JayFeather...2007 and bought it in 2008. Just sold it this April. It served me, the wife and our 4 kids very well for 9 years. Never had any trouble with it.

There are SO many RV models it gets overwhelming searching each brand. Some of the models you guys have mentioned has a bunkhouse room with couch, which we have now and like. We may have to choose a smaller bunkhouse for a larger living area.

The Jayco has a small bunkhouse room but a large living area with a couch and recliners. We need to start listing pros and cons of each floorplan.

I know you can only fit so much poo in a small bag.

Jayco makes some of the nicer affordable RVs and they seem to keep their value a little longer than many.

Like the Floorplan on the crusader. Dealership prices crack me up. Dealership 80 miles away is $5000 more than a dealership 500 miles away.

My brother has a Jayco 5th wheel with bunk and an outdoor kitchen. It is under thirty feet, I believe. They like it a lot.

Your situation brings a smile to my face.
Years ago my dad built a building for his 32' Leprechaun which had no slides. It was about his 4th RV. At the time I asked why he did not build wider, longer and taller for his next motorhome, his reply was "it won't be bigger". He was notoriously TIGHT!
2 years later the new 38' Newmar would not fit in the building, so he added on. Once again I asked that same question.
3 years later he called to tell me not to ask that question again, just come help plan the extension! Yep, he had stepped up. Third time was the charm, added enough space to fit whatever.
Moral of the story, if you add to your building, be sure to plan several steps ahead.

I build a spreadsheet of models so that I can keep track of what I've looked at online and what notes I have about the models.

From there, I start finding them at dealers...

One such example:

Thanks for everyone input! We really need to go to a RV show so we can walk around many RVs in one location.

Looks like prices are around 38-45K for the models mentioned. I will like to buy close to me, but I will travel across state line for a GREAT deal. I'm not really worried about service, because Forest River warranty is only one year. I can fix just about anything.

The reason I built a 40' shop is so I will not buy a 40+ foot RV. Some of the campgrounds we camp have spots for large RVs but away from everything, and some older parks can't accommodate large RVs. 40' RVs push 12,000 lbs unloaded and that is too heavy for my truck.

Leaning towards the crusader 337qbh. The crusader seems to be their middle model line. I don't know much about Prime Time, but I'm sure it just like any other brands similar priced models.

I can't find much info on that particular Prime Time model on this forum.
