Dometic fridge mod

I really hate to do this, but I have spent an hour searching for an old thread and I can’t seem to find it.

Someone had posted detailed instructions with pictures on cutting the heat condensation wire in the light compartment on the newer dometic fridges without the switch pre-installed. Can someone post the link? I have seen some cutting the black wire and some the red (probably doesn’t matter) but I found at least one post that said to cut the SMALLER of the two wires, which I don’t think is right. Any help is appreciated.

While we’re on the topic, I was tracking a phantom draw on my batteries when I came across that thread. I unplugged the wire from J2 on the fridge panel and have noticed a significant improvement. But that also disables the light so I want to do the mod in the above link to still use the light (and climate control, if necessary.)
