Dometic recall approval

Can you please tell me how long it took any of you to get the recall done by a dealer that came to your campsite? I have talked to these people four times and still cant seem to get a call approving my trip charge, they said that the charge of 65 dollars was the going rate and there shouldnt be a problem getting it approved. I am still waiting, I have a case number and all that I seem to hear is that they cant understand the delay,,, this has been going on for about 6 weeks...any thoughts as to how to get the ball rolling? thanks

The dealer I used to do the repair handled that - Dometic called me to ask questions about the non-moveability of the trailer. It really has to be an issue of can't easily be moved -- not you can't be bothered. My charge was $75 on-site service call - which I offered to pay. Repair guy showed up and said Dometic already paid it. (I'm sure going rate is dependent on where you are located). After 4 calls/6 weeks, I'd just pay the $65 and get it done. You can always write a letter to Dometic and hope for reimbursement.
