Earthquake Damage In Maryland

A few days ago Maryland had a small earthquake around 5:04 am. I just received pic for one of the disaster sites in Germantown Maryland where my boss lives.

I cracked up when my sister-in-law sent that to me on Sunday morning. As for the earthquake I felt it around 5:05 AM. The windows rattled which isn't too uncommon since we have helicopters landing at the Armory down the road from me from time to time. The strange thing was there was no noise just the rattle. It was about 6 hours later on our way to the KOA in Pine Grove PA that our daughter texted that we had an earthquake.

I was in San Diego last year and I thought I'd had a dizzy spell for a minute but the dizzy spell was accompanied by what sounded like a door slamming.

The next day someone asked me if I felt the earthquake and a light bulb went off in my head. I said, "That's what that was!".

My wife slept through it and thought I was crazy when I was trying to explain what I'd felt.

I arrive at the Little Bennett CG in Germantown around 11am on Sunday. There was a branch lying on the site. That must have been why!

If FEMA arrives, you will really have a mess.
