Electric Heat in Water Tank and Water Lines

I own a 2019 Flagstaff 29rkws which came with the heated main water tank and water lines.
With the cooler weather approaching and not wanting to winterize yet, am I ok to run the electric tank heater without any water in it?

Your recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Mark

The literature that came with my new TT that has the tank heaters specifically recommends against doing that.

Last year I didn't winterize so I just added 5 gallons of water to both gray and black tanks. Left fresh water tank full. Turned on tank heater switch and not a single problem.

I did leave a couple of electric heaters set so they would keep the interior temp 45-50 degrees and kept cabinet doors open.

Unless you have a heated basement, I don't think that the water lines are heated. Unless this is some new thing.
