Electric Tongue Lift Stuck, Wont Work!

Apparently we made a major mistake completely on accident. We weren't watching when raising the lift, and raised it above the "do not go above tjis line" area. Now the lift is stuck, wont go up or down!

Is there a way to get the lift working properly again ourselves, or is this going to be a costly dealer repair? Help!

Did you blow the fuse? Can you hear the motor clicking?
There is a way to move it manually. Normally there is a cap on the top that you can remove and use a socket wrench to raise/lower the jack.
Good luck!

It moves, just goes around in circles..not up and down. I tried to load video but upload was unsuccessful.
We were able to use manual access...just curious if anyone knows if there's a 'fix' to get the electric lift back on 'track'?

Maybe there's a shear pin, a soft pin connecting the gear to the shaft. In an overload, the shear pin breaks off ("shears") to prevent motor burnout. Check the manual for the jack.
