Don’t know where are you going to be traveling, but several of the rest areas on the Ohio Turnpike have electric hook-ups and dump stations for RVs.

Probably not as loud as a huge diesel engine idling.

I've seen at least two just off highway service (gas/diesel) facilities that have a row of parking spots that have power boxes. Power is purchased by the hour and, as I recollect, it was around $20-$25 for power for an overnight stay. I also didn't make a note of where these facilities are. The power boxes were located in a row of parking spots that was off to the side of the truck parking area behind the station.

It's possible that the government's plan to establish EV recharging stations will make it possible for additional service stations to install power outlets for RVs or we'll start seeing EV to RV adapter cables.

I’ve noticed you can make reservations for an RV spot at these truck stops and was told they are about $18 a night. I would gladly pay that for a 30a hook up instead of $50 or so at a campground…

Thanks for the replies
State campgrounds should not cost you $50 !!!

Well it could, most state campgrounds on the East coast cost $30-$40 per night and then add fees which can bring it to over $50.
You can reduce the cost by staying longer in most cases.
