Emergency escape window

My 2011 Shasta Cynara 2301 (Forester clone) has an emergency escape window next to the corner bed with the 2 red handles that can be pulled to make this an exit. I have heard that some of these windows are designed to fall out of the opening and some are hinged at the top edge.

Does anyone know which type of window mine is or how I can determine which it is? I don't want to do a fire drill and end up with $500 of broken glass.

Without a picture from the OP, that would be the first thing I'd do...
