Ent. Door & Ele. Awning

I have a question about our 2010 8306SS. We just ordered the unit and took possession of the unit on July 1st, we have camped in it total of 9 nights.

One thing we have noticed is the rear ent. door rubs on the awning (A&E Power Awning) and is starting to leave a rub mark. If I take the adj arms (rain dump feature) and extended them all the way up the door just rubs the awning but not has much.

Has any one else had this problem?

Yes I have!

What I do is once the awning is completly extended, I hit the button to retract it for a second or two and it seems to clear just find.

I tried what you said and it also didn't work, just made it worse.

Give it a try and let us know!

I have an 2009 8306 SS and I did what Wis. camper did and it helped. It just seems after a while it goes back to rubbing and you have to retract a little again.
