Entrance door broke

Ok so went into my Georgetown 351ds in the morning and got couple things out. Later in the afternoon I go to go back inside and the handle won't open the door. Had to break in my own RV. Everything was locked up tight. I was able to slim jim the emergency window latch and go in that way. Took lock apart from inside and the door plunger had broken preventing the handle from opening it.
After some research I see this is a common problem. What I would like to know Is the upgraded steel trimark part worth it for $148 that they are asking for or is there another door lock brand that is good and fits. I dont want to go electronic lock.

I've only seen a couple post on the replacement, but they have all said the steel is much better and stronger than the original.
