I am not an Escapees member so I can't help you there. However, I do have Allstays pro. I find I use the filters in allstays to find campgrounds to research and then use campendium to get sometimes more recent reviews on those places. I also use allstays to plan out fuel stops. (I don't know why ford put a 26 gallon tank in a 3/4 ton truck.)
As a side note if you are planning on staying in Palo Duro Canyon State Park you should make reservations as soon as possible because that is a really popular place to stay.
Also, make sure to see if a Texas State Parks Pass would be worth it to you. You have to pay daily entrance fees at Texas state parks in addition to the camp site fee and the parks pass eliminates the entrance fees.
