Sierra360PDEK is the name and model of our fiver. Couldn't think of anything else at the time. Lame, I know.

Because I ride. Wind in my hair and bugs in my teeth. I know why a dog hangs his head out the car window..

Not too complicated....
What it is not, any relationship to Ga Tech (although I do root for them, been to Bobby Dodd stadium a few times)
What it is, a duel meaning and a play on our last name (nickname):
1) Many years ago I liked to run my troops and call cadence in formation. I would make up "Jody Songs" as we ran all over the place, thus the name "Ramblin" emerged.
2) Most importantly, DW and I love to Ramble through the countryside.

Part my last name nickname and what I did, a medic, and the station I was assigned to back in the day in another life. It just stuck.

Dan is the short nickname of my first name. Kids at two different churches have called me Mr. Dan about 40 years.

Nickname given to me years ago offshore. Nothing to do with me being a big person as I'm only 200 and 5'9". Just what several called me and it stuck.

My last name is Boucher [Boo-shay] and my Air Force Callsign was "Boo"

I was going to go with Colorado_Boo but, since Boo is a unisex nickname, I just went with Rick (In the movie Monsters, the little girl was called Boo)

Yes, Bobby Boucher was the name of The Waterboy but we won't go down that road...Momma says it's the devil!

I once made a Murray lawn tractor go about 40mph. I lost control while jumping an approach and hit a tree. We both got a little banged up and I haven't ridden it since.

My wife and I started running in horseback field trials in 1980, running English pointers and setters off of Tennessee Walkers. Had our dogs with the Pennsylvania pro for almost 10 years. Ran everything east of the Mississippi from Michigan to Mississippi to New York and into the New England states.

Got out of the dog world for a little bit while we built our home and first kennel. Decided to go back in the field trials but this time with Grouse and Woodcock dogs. These type of trials a run in the woods of the eastern United States and are called cover dog trials. We were lucky enough to be quite successful in this venue having a great Setter Female with another Pennsylvania pro. After she had been running for a while and had a massed 16 wins she won a championship in Maine . I began to get on different forums and I always went on as Cover Dog.

Regardless of what forum I am now on I am known as Cover Dog.
