Mine is because once upon a time I raced dirt track stock cars. My wife collects cows and cow spotted things, so as a joke to her, I put black spots on my white car after I built it. It was so unusual, that I kept the look. Although everyone thought I was sponsored by Gateway computers. (I wish!)
It became sort of a personal trademark for me. After I got out of racing, I build a Suzuki Samurai rock crawler. I painted it up in "Wisconsin camouflage" too.

Lived in Fort Worth, Texas a.k.a. Panther City. Two decades back I started a motorcycle roadracing team, Panther City Racing.
Still go by that handle.

Part of my alias as a Cowboy Action Shooter (competitive shooting, 1800's style). Have done years of archaeological research in the South Dakota Badlands, so the name seemed to be a good fit.

Interesting. I never knew that before. The name started in the mid 1870's.

Strat is short for Stratocaster - an electric guitar made by Fender, I was born in 1956. I try to use the same name at all forums I join.

They are hard to find in decent shape. A nice restored bike is worth $4500-$7500. Not too bad considering they were $325 new in 1973.

Many years ago, we lived in New Mexico. I was working on a ranch as a consultant doing a mineral survey and the hands were really helpful. They all loved New Mexico Green Chile, so I brought a pickup truck load up to them as a thank you. It was hot and real tasty. After that, they called me El Chilero (the chile guy). 53 is the year I was born.
