Has anyone ever heard of a company called America Assurance for a service contract? I am getting ready to purchase a new trailer and that is the company they are trying to push for a service contract. Good Bad anything would be good.

Can't speak to your company, but don't buy extended warranty now, despite claims it is much more expensive to buy it later. Prices on them are negotiable. Why pass up a free year of warranty service with you initial 12 month bumper to bumper. I waited a week before I was out of manufacturers warranty to purchase mine. Added an extra year of protection.

NO, that was ended around 5 years ago.

That "push" would be the finance manager ordeal and gauntlet we endure at the dealer. Service and extended warranty contracts are high pressure, high profit products. The pitch is when your emotions are at the weakest, just as you sign a purchase agreement making the new RV officially yours.
Don't succumb to the onslaught of the persuasion of impending expensive repairs.
Sleep on it, research the internet and ask to read the fine print and exclusions at home.
Just say no.

Upflying that sounds great I have asked for the policy and all that is covered fand what is not and have not seen anything but a price reduction when I started asking questions. I am going say no wait till close to the end of the year of the manufacture warrantee and get something then.

We bought this warranty with our used Motorhome. When the steps broke, the dealer did a preauthorization and steps were replaced in a week.

Good to hear, when the finance manager wont show you the contract before you sign it, they are hiding something in the fine print.
