Extended Warranty?

What is the general consensus on extended warranties? My mfg warranty is up in October. I have a Destination Trailer so any repairs would need to be onsite.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!

I priced out a Good Sam extended warranty the other day. Could get it up to 6 years which seemed reasonable for $1843

There are literally hundreds of threads here, on 3rd party extended warranties. A quick search will get you weeks of reading.
Bottom line is that nearly all will not cover the expensive stuff, like bad roofs or delamination. It's all in the fine print.

If the warranty covers expensive stuff they might be worth considering, otherwise it is usually easier to fix it myself than try to get the RV into a dealer after a long wait for an appointment. Some posters have stated that the dealerships will not even accept the warrantied work.

Good luck on anything associated with Camping World/Gander RV/Good Sam. Read the fine print very carefully.
