Exterior TV Mount

All;

I have a 2007 Forest River Forester. I have seen an option for an exterior mounted TV. I was curious if any of you are familiar with this?? What does the exterior mount look like?? Can this mount be bought through Forest River?? Does it work well??

Thanks!

Dan

Can't say I've heard of this option... is it through FR?

Yes it is. Forest river offers it on their Forester Class C, maybe other models also, just not sure. It must be just a simple bracket that is permanently attached to the outside of the RV that you just hang the tv off of.

I have one on my Lexington 283GTS and I use it to watch TV outside etc.
The mount is very simple, you just slide it off the interior mount and slide it on the exteria mount. Very easy. You unplug and unscrew the wiring and there is a plug in etc. outside. it was one of the pluses when I bought it. Good luck.

So the mount is permananet on the outsude. Does it simply screw through the side of the RV??

I will have to call Forest River and see if they sell these as accessories.

Thanks!

I guess I'm a simpleton. I'd put the TV on a folding table.

Cheap.
Flexible, I can put it anywhere I want, including someone elses campsite.
I can use the table for other stuff when not watching TV.

But that's just me.
