Extras - What do I need

I have just upgraded from a popup to a new 2013 Rockwood 2306. I have some of the misc hoses for fresh/grey water, ext cords, wood blocks for under the stabilizers, etc. However, I know there are going to be quite a few new things I will need with the new camper and bathroom that don't come equipped. Can you guys give me some ideas of the extras that I need and extras that might make life easier? (ie hose length to drain the bathroom tank and anything else you can think of)

Thanks

Phil - Tampa, Fl

Lucky for you that you have had some experience with the pup so you probably know much of what should be bought immediately. Here are some thoughts that might give you a few ideas...

  • A good awning mat - one that drains water.
  • A decent multimeter
  • A variety of tools including a socket you can use to tighten your lugs in the first few hundred miles and cordless drill for the stabilizers. Dicor LAP sealant and fuses for those inevitable fixit jobs you will need to do while camping. Here's one link to a thread on tools to carry.
  • Common mods that people do in the first year are to install MaxxAir vent covers, an Oxygenics shower head, a Memory Foam mattress, battery disconnect (if your camper doesn't have one), and a portable surge protector.
  • Don't forget to sign up for the second year extended FR warrenty.

Spend some time in the mods forum and the tech support forum.
You will see things you "just GOT to have"
