Factory Warranty

DH and I are having a discussion about the standard warranty of our new RV (Rockwood 8283SS). I have been showing DH mods that some of you have made, i.e., adding shelf under BR sink, etc. Does this or not invalidate the manufactures warranty? It seems to me that as long as you do not affect the operation of any current structures and mechanics of any mechanism you should be fine. I think DH just doesn't want the extra work. What do you think?

There's a note in my owner's manual that states if you make mods without written authorization from Forest River, Inc, it could result in reduction or loss of warranty coverage.

Eh, to a point. Mounting a shelf under the BR sink probably won't void the warranty on the roof, for example.
