The factory rep even got involved with absolutely no help. So I bought a Heartland Bighorn 39MB 5ver, much better quality and excellent service from the dealer.

FRF is probably one of the best for info. There are so many users, despite of brand, that can help you out. I wish you all the best with your Heartland.
Safe and happy travels.

I'm guessing that one of her issues was counter space. That was a big reason my wife fell in love with our 232RBXL, which FR no longer makes.

Chief T. We are doing the same thing. We purchased the same model at the fall RV show in Toronto a couple of weeks ago with delivery at the end of November. Saying goodbye to our 2018 Salem 27 Rkss.

You will be sorry
I had a solitude 5th wheel and it was JUNK from day one. All ceiling lights kept falling out (had to be replaced), fireplace and microwave both quit working (had to be replaced), entire wheel and tire broke off shearing off all the lug nuts knocking a hole in the bottom of the slide then as it started out the side it damaged the tire behind it then proceeded to tear out the whole side of the camper from there back. All this was caused because the factory put the wrong length shackles on the springs which was letting the spring bottom out on the frame therefore making it once it did that you had a solid suspension. I was in North Dakota (didn’t have more than 1500 miles on it) I noticed one of the tires was worn and the cords were showing. I called FR and asked if they were having tire Problems because I was and I didn’t think the load range E tires were heavy enough for the weight of the camper. The guy said if I was going to buy 4 new tires that they recommend buying load range G tires but they wouldn’t make it good even though it was still under warranty. I have been to almost every state and a whole lot of campgrounds and everyone that I have talked to along the way have had a lot of trouble with their Solitudes. By the way I now own a Fr and NO PROBLEMS. I feel sorry for you and I do wish you good luck.

On the bill it says the 6 month policy increase is $99.68
So the new six month rate is $99.68
Again this is just speculation

Our 22MLE is due 2nd week of November. Keeping fingers crossed. Won’t get much camping in remainder of season except for a couple day shake down.
We found more info and received responses from gdrv Facebook then from the website. DW checks fb while I check the site. I still come to FR website. Have gotten a lot of good info here, Search function is good.

Hubby did tons of research on every model out there. He focused on build quality, axles (biggie since several were having issues) etc. After a little over 2 years of research, visiting several dealers in and out of state and several RV shows we finally agreed on the Rockwood Mini Lite 2511s. Rockwood is a classy product. The walls are solid to the touch both interior and exterior. On several other models there was a lot of give when we pushed on the walls. The interior quality was another big selling point. With few exceptions the rest looked cheaply done. I had wanted a rear or front kitchen and separate eating and sitting but in order to do 50 states we did not want to be greater than 30 feet and he wanted to keep the weight to no greater than 6k. This has a huge bathroom that is easily accessible if needed. I purchased TV trays to use if eating outdoors was not an option. The kitchen space is decent. My biggest concern with the middle kitchen was cabinet and prep space but that has not been an issue. At first glance it doesn't look like it has a great deal of storage but it has tons. The wardrobe slide is fantastic and the big door along with a good 18" from end of bed to wall doesn't give you that claustrophobic feel a lot of RVs have while allowing you to have a fully private bedroom. Ours is the early 2019 so the underbelly storage is not as big as the 2020s but I have always been good at packing small spaces.
Good luck with your GD.

I saw our FR leave with another family in March and like you I strayed over to the GD product line. We purchased a new 3170BH Imagine and have had a few issues but nothing major. I have been pleased so far with the brand. We looked for what seemed like 3 years to find a replacement for out FR trailer and nothing seemed to fit the bill until we found this floor plan. Very pleased with the purchase. I think that knowing how RV’s are made and what to expect when buying new conditioned my attitude when it comes to finding flaws of a new unit. Good luck with your new purchase. As you already know, the folks here are happy to have you hang around regardless of brand.
