Farewell to FR Family
I bid adieu to my fellow Forest River family as we are picking up our new Grand Design XLS 22 MLE this Friday.
I'll maintain my presence on this forum as it holds such a wealth of information irregardless of which brand you own.
Safe and happy travels.

Mine likes the 17MKE and I'm over at the grand design forum under the same call sign. Let us know how it holds up. I'm torn between a NOBO or the 17MKE. Decisions decisions .......

We left in 2016 and like you joined the Winnebago family. Met some wonderful friends here and check in daily. Really miss the Int’l. Rally, we attended #3 & 4.

Hello Chief T, Congratulations on your Grand Design. If you go to that site there is a wealth of information on the good and the bad. We were on that site before we made our purchase. So many issues, I wish you the best!

I also traded RVs in July. Went to Heartland Trail Runner. So far so good. 261 JM model. Still getting used to the smaller bathroom.

Sorry to see you go, but I bet the GD is one heck of a nice unit. My wife and I have already started talking about moving up from a Coachmen to a GD. We are thinking that if we are going to do this thing.... may as well go all in and do it! We are also thinking that we may just rent a perma-space and keep the unit parked there so that it is easier to use for her if I am working, my parents or my sister and her husband. Kind of like, buy a much better and fancier unit, use the heck out of it and feel that it was money well spent and memories well made.
On a side note, you totally made up a word!
Regardless is a word in the English language.
Adding ir in front of it makes it regarded again! It inverts the whole point of the word and the whole point of adding the "less" suffix. Regardless, I understood what you meant. I work with a bunch of word snobs and I was cured real fast of that oh so common hint of illiteracy! I have dun been edumakated!

I called USAA yesterday to change the policy to the new Grand Design we're picking up tomorrow, and they informed us our new 6-month premium will go from $80 and change to $10.82. I was like... What?? lock us in before you change your minds.
I love my bank!!!
