Favorite secret Adult beverage mixes

I have been reading about great meals you fellow campers make over the fire and such, what do you like to wash it all down with?

Here is an old favorite of mine to make for a group.
12-pack of beer.
1 litter vodka
2 bottles of champagne
2 frozen cans concentrate pink lemonade

Mix all together and enjoy carefully!!

I can already just imagine how many of the Favorite secret Adult beverage mixes posts will be tried at Goshen
Who knows, maybe there should be some kind of award for the best recipe.

Well I am one of these folks that can't mix beer and liquor. They just don't get along well with me. I prefer the beer, any kind will do, but I prefer Coors Light. I have been known to do a little Tequila now and then....but not to often!!

If you are going to be in Goshen, stop by for a Coors. I will have abundant supply.

Boat drinks

I don't go in for mixed drinks much. I'm a beer, bourbon on the rocks kind of guy. However, the bartender at O'Toole's pub (in Richmond) and I concocted a boat drink for people like I who hate sugery drinks.
It's called a rum fizzy and note the small quantities of ingredients (except the rum and fizzy water):
In a pint glass, over ice, add lots of light rum (four fingers).
1 Tbs. pineapple juice
1 tsp. Malibu
2 Tbs. Rose's lime juice
Top up with seltzer water (soda water will do)
Garnish with lime
You get all the hints of coconut and pineapple w/o the cloying sweetness of most tropical drinks.
For you vodka lovers, omit the Malibu and it works just as well. Warning: they go down like soda pop.

In the morning, instead of a Bloody Mary, I go with a nip of Amaretto in the coffee. Others often wonder why I'm still drinking coffee at noon.
In the afternoon to evening, I'm for a cold Michelob Ultra. I stay away from the hard stuff.

Tickle is portrayed in the series as a stumbling backwoods idiot, but IMO he is not. The guy has become famous.

I still do not know how that show is anywhere a believeable behind the scenes edition of the moonshining industry where all the characters, including Tim who is a fire chief in his town, is filmed and broadcasted nationwide. That one ATF agent (forget his name) is a Keystone cop IMO).

I watch it, but don't believe what I see on it.

We like the quick on the go drinks...one of our favorites: sunny D & capt Morgan's spiced rum...so simple but stout

If you like mint at all try a splash of Dr. Mcgillicuddys in there also.

I mostly like my beer also, lots of different IPAs. A few favorites are Sierra Nevada, Two Hearted Ale, and Ranger.

Thanks for all those other recipies too, going to give a few a try, keep them coming I am going to make a FRF Drink book.

I recently tried and liked a six pack of Rolling Rock Extra Pale. I like the nice finish it has. I am now throwing stones at my Coors that are still in my fridge.

It just so happens that I brought a six pack of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale recently when the store didn't have RR - haven't tried it yet.

Whiskey and Ginger on the rocks or my new favorite...
100 proof vodka and V8 Splash - mango / peach flavor over crushed ice. The V8 gives me a serving of vitamins A&C and is an antioxidant.

We don't have a secret adult drink mix. Whatever a manufacturer produces is good enough for us and we don't drink very often.

All the talk of alcohol at the Goshen rally had me and Petunia a bit intimidated. This past weekend we decided to see if we could hold our own when it came to drinking. That didnít work out too well. The campfire went out and we both ended up with stiff necks. We seem to be lightweights so I think weíll have to be party observers in Goshen.
