And this is 2 of the sites at Poplar Point at Jordan Lake in NC. The water was a little brown in the inlet but the rest of the lake is really pretty. Many will beach their boats at the bottom of their sites. Crosswinds, another state campground at Jordan Lake has some gorgeous views also.

This was our campsite

And it's view:

Gorgeous site Bob. Making me envious!! Hopefully you are going to spill the beans on the location of the place and possibly a site number.

We camped there in Feb...nice park

If any of you come to TX, specifically NW of The Austin area, look up Sunset Point RV Park. That one is on Lake LBJ. There are no sites that aren't within a gorgeous view of the water. Some are on the shore. Beautiful park. We live in an area called the TX Hill Country. If anyone does, let us know!

Topsail State Park just east of Destin, FL...beautiful campground & fills fast, usually make reservations 9 months out during peak visitation.
Great beach & one of only a few that doesn't have high rise condos & structures spoiling your view!

It really was a great site prairiecamper. It was closed the day we departed due to rising lake levels. When that photo was taken the lake was 7 feet above normal pool.

Ryand, I sent you a PM.
