Feeling very lucky
I live in Albany, Ga. Most of you may know that Albany was hit hard by hurricane Michael even though we are approximately 180 miles from the Gulf Coast. Damage here is tremendous. We have had tornadoes in this area and the path of a tornado is in a straight line. Hurricane Michael left a path of destruction which at one point, near Donalsonville, Ga. was measured at 50 miles wide. We are fine with no injuries, the house had no damage at all. A 60+ tall Tulip Poplar tree fell and landed on my shop roof but so far it appears that there is no damage to the shop roof. Another Tulip Poplar tree fell and missed my TT by 11". A large branch from a Red Maple broke off an landed flat on the top of my TT. I cannot find even a pinhole in the rubber roof nor are there any signs of damage inside the TT. Once I can get the tree removed from in front of the TT it will be taken to an independent RV repair guy for a formal inspection. I lost eight (8) trees from this hurricane but no personal injuries nor major structural damage.
