Some good advice above. Fivers are challenging at first due to the delay in jacking when compared to a pintle style TT. With the pin at or just ahead of your axles it takes a lot of travel to move that pivot point to the side compared to your ball hitch.

A technique that works well for me when backing our 44 foot triple axle is to approach the site hugging the curb on the same side as the site. As soon as my LAST axle gets in front of the site I swing to the opposite side of the road and get within a foot of the opposite curb. I stop with the back end of the trailer 15-20 feet past the site - I am now positioned with the trailer pre-angled across the road and ready to back and jack. I have been able to get in som pretty tight spots like this give it a try and you will be surprised at how much faster you can get the trailer to start turning.
