Firman Generator?

I've been looking at getting an inverter generator for a while. I was thinking of getting the Champion 2000Watt or 3100 Watt. Recently Costco started carrying the Firman generators. The specs are pretty close to the Champion but they carry a better warranty and are less expensive. I'm not sure if the 1Db sound difference is anything to care about.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

I had not heard of them either.
Looks like Sumec (in GA) handles the warranty, whomever they are.

The Firman web site is pretty secretive about contact information.
Here is a link to their WARRANTY PAGE.

It does look like a nice unit.

I would recommend the Champion. Do Google searches for reviews, you will see why I like mine.

Seems we have these discussions about once a week here.

No question that Honda sets the bar high.

With that said, they are not the ONLY manufacturer of a good generator.
I have a Sinemate 3500 watt inverter generator that I've used pretty hard over the last 5 years. It has operated flawlessly.

My Uncle has a Champion that has worked just as hard without a hiccup.

Buy what suits your needs best.
