First trip in the new View

After a mostly uneventful trip, we set up at our spot at Crosswinds Campground at Jordan Lake with the new TT! I say mostly uneventful because Google maps decided we couldn’t turn left, we had to go right and make a u turn. Unfortunately I didn’t catch it till it was too late. But after several turns through some residential streets, we ended up at our destination safe and sound.

Got set up, got the fire going and getting ready to roast some hot dogs with the wife and kiddos.

Have a great weekend and Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads out there!!

All these 'maps' programs have some 'glitches' in their program. Our Garmin put us in the middle of onion field in New York State. (Didn't even know they had large onion fields.) Doggone hard to turn our tt around. Another time, it wanted us to turn right over a cliff. Google is a bit better, but not infallible.
We've learned to map out our route in advance.

Looks like a great place to camp.

Looks great, enjoy and maybe your gps is one designed for UPS drivers (no left turns)

At least you can blame Google for the screw up. I usually manage it on my own. Lol

It doesn’t fail me too often but when it does, it’s usually an adventure. Hasn’t tried to send me over a cliff yet but now I’m gonna keep an eye on it.

Ha! Now that you mention it, it was all right turns.

Lol, well my wife thinks I just didn’t pay attention so according to her, it was my fault.
