First trip preparations

Well after a week of combing over our tt were ready for our first trip to Saint Augustine fla this Thursday. I will have only one thing to really do when we get their and that is to de winterization the water system due to it still getting down in the 30 degree range. I start with the underside of out tt first checking all shackle bolts for proper tightness then lubing all slide components and electric stabilizers and wheel bearings.Next I will run all systems starting with the heat then run the ac for ten minutes or so. Then last I do is wash and wax the entire rig. Where are you going on your first trip?

From Minnesota to Baraboo WI to visit the International Crane Foundation, then to Holland and Grand Rapids, MI to visit relatives, then to Stratford, Ontario to spend a few days at the Stratford Festival (Shakespeare plays, 2 shows/day!), then back north and west around the north side of the Great Lakes to Thunder Bay, Ontario stopping at many Ontario Provincial Parks along the way, then back down the North Shore of Lake Superior and back to home. Planning for two weeks but it may take longer. The more we see of the parks up there, the longer we want to stay!

MNtraveler-if you haven't ever, check out the House on the Rock. Its just south west of Baraboo. It takes a good 3 hours for the tour but very worthwhile.

Took an overnight trip to a men's conference 60 miles from home. Good dry run and everything worked perfectly. Now for a real trip! New Mexico mountains? Lots of places to go and have fun! Decisions! Decisions! Yellowstone/Mount Rushmore later this year.

LOL - yes, we love the House on the Rock and we also loved the Rock in the House along the river border! (A huge boulder split off the hill and rolled right into the house. Pretty much ruined it for use as a house, but they cleverly made it into an incredible small museum!)
