Flexco Steps

The powder coating on the Flexco steps on my 2016 Palomini 179RDS camper is flaking off big time. Is this a common problem that we must learn to live with (e.g. sand and repaint frequently)...or has someone found a way to get help from the manufacturer?

I don't anticipate that Flexco would warranty the steps on a 3 model year old camper...but perhaps they might help me with the cost of purchasing new steps? I have contacted them...but any of your suggestions would be appreciated.

No idea. I changed out my steps a long time ago to Glowstep Revolution steps by Torklift. Expensive solution to the problem, but they're fantastic steps.

I just repainted mine for the 2nd time. They blister/rust around the obrounds punched into the surface. Except for the anti skid appliques, I sanded them down with a air disc and about a 40 grit, wiped down with alcohol and shot with a rustoleum product that turns rust to primer and then a finish coat of rustoleum satin black. Good enough until next time!

Flexco Steps

Well I contacted Flexco, sent them pictures of the steps...and they offered to send me out a replacement. I guess it's true...you never know unless you ask!
