Forest River Mini Lite 2506s low point drains

I have a 2017 FR mini lite 2506s with low point drains that come out just above my entry door side rear wheel well. The end of the caps only clear the tire by less than 3 inches. Didn't consider this to be a concern until after the purchase. We have not seen any other units of the same model year with the low point drains in this location. My main concern is if we are in a real crappy road, my suspension flex may cause the tire to contact the caps and damage them or the tubing and draining my fresh water tank... The trailer does have the Dexter torsion bar axles, so I do not know how much vertical movement is possible with them...anyone know anything about this?
