Forest River warranty

In that the chassis arrives without a windshield (Stripped) I would think that Forest River is responsible. I've had issues with other Manufacturers and found that the dealer needs to push the issue also. If you read Motorhome magazine you will find that the old Chassis Mfg versus Motorhome Mfg. game is played all the time. You were very patient to wait 3 weeks; I would have raised H a lot sooner. Sad to say , I think that one has to be demanding in today's world to get a company to listen.

I notice from your post that you never mentioned your dealer... what role did they play in your issue when you took it to them?

I bought a 06 Salem LA in Jan.. The front cap has become wavy and when I called forest river they "Second owner is not coverd by the orig. unit warranty." I have now went to the dealer United RV. They seem to be on my side.

Warranty work

We're taking our new camper in today to have the fridge fixed because of the recall. Also going to have it pressurized because it has a leak and we can't find it. We did not buy the camper locally, but the local dealer said he would fix it. We'll see how it goes.
