Fresh Water Tank

Hello all. I have a 2016 Flagstaff 23ikss that has had a crack in the fresh water tank for a while now. I have tried many unsuccessful diy repairs such as JB water weld, gorilla tape, and then finally eternabond tape. I'm guessing the crack happened in the first place by not being able to vent properly. I contacted my local RV dealer and asked if there are any other tanks made out of stronger material. The only one they could find was the same exact flimsy one, and that was back in April. They ordered it, but have had no updates since, due to Covid according to them. My question for the experts is does anyone know of any tanks made of stronger material? I would rather not have this happen again. Also, is there a way to make sure the vent isn't clogged before filling? Thanks for any help you can give.

There are all kinds of RV water tanks out there from many different sources. A quick Google brings back more than you want to look at.
The problem is finding one that will fit your RV, especially if you want an exact replacement.
I would find an independent RV service shop and talk them about tank replacement, and the possibility of redoing your tank support system to accommodate a better, or at least different, tank. They can also redo your tank plumbing, including the vent.

Yeah, I couldn't find anything on stronger tanks online. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot. I called a local RV service shop and he told me to just go with the stock one. He said he's never heard of tanks made out of anything stronger. I just left it at that. Looks like stock it is.

You also might want to look into reinforcing the bottom of the tank with support bars. People have reported that their fresh water tanks 'sagged or bowed' with the weight of the water.
