full body paint better resale value?

It seems that the newest Georgetown models come more and more in full body paint. I have a 2010, 379 model, that is just partial paint and I’m wondering if I should have a full body paint job done on it. For the look of course, but also for a better resale value when the time comes to sell it. I’m afraid that in the future everyone will be looking for full body paint unit only.

What you guys think? Am I wrong?

I think it would be a hard thing to quantify. You pay much less for a rig without full body paint so the amount you sell it for will be less too but have you lost or gained? I preferred full body paint when I ordered ours as I feel the paint looks better and is more durable. Ultimately selling RVs is a money loss no matter what you do. They aren't like cars so I wouldn't be thinking about "resale value". Ultimately it won't be the paint or lack thereof that would sell it in the future anyway as it is always said that floorplan sells the rig.

Do it if you want that look, not for a better resale value. That way you won't be disappointed as those kind of modifications seldom ever repay.

I think dave hit right on the money. Some people like the full body paint and otheres don't. You will never get the moneys paid for the full body paint when you sell it. It also adds weight to the vehicle too. They look nice and will maybe draw a few extra bucks in trade, but not what you would have paid for when you bought it. We chose not to have the full body paint and have no regrets.
