Furrion Tv remote control light relocate

Just wondering if anyone has or knows how or if you can, relocate the little infrared light on the front of your TV for the remote to change the channels.
Can you relocate that somehow to put it in a better spot?
I don't know just wonderin.

Something you can try is an IR extender cable, so you can run the sensor to anywhere you like. I have one that I use for devices that are stored behind the TV in a cabinet so that I can control them via remote. I got one on eBay for like $2 from China.

Mine was $7 on Amazon prime. It's USB powered, so you can probably use the USB port on the back of the TV.
