Galley faucet

We have a 2018 Isata 3. The galley fawcett is leaking a lot right at the handle. Does anyone know the make of these fawcetts? We have the goose neck with removable sprayer. Our cabin is by Forest River. There is nothing in any of our manuals that address the fawcetts. Thank you

Thank you for looking at this. The leak is right at the universal joint where the handle meets the main body of the fawcett.

Smile Galley fawcett isata 3

We have a 2018 Dynamax Isata 3 and our galley fawcett is leaking. I posted a thread earlier and accently erased it. Here is a photo of the fawcett. Trying to figure out the make for parts. It is leaking where the handle forms the universal joint and meets the main body of the fawcett. Thank you in advance for your help. Someone responded earlier asking for a photo.

Galley faucets and other faucets within an R/V are usually inexpensive import brands.
R/V manufacturers use whatever they can get the cheapest and often change brands/models throughout the build process.

Many cannot be repaired. Most everyone at some point will replace it with something like a Moen or Delta brand available from any big box store (Lowe's/Home Depot) or any good plumbing store. They are all interchangeable with home style faucets.

If you can post a photo or possibly find a model name/number (not likely without removal and maybe then not) we could possibly help. Being they use so many different faucets throughout the R/V industry there is no way for us to know for sure what you have.

If you are capable and can disassemble the faucet and remove the inner cartridge, you may be able to match parts up at the above mentioned plumbing suppliers.

As a side note... LOL... your subject line made me think Farrah Fawcett in an R/V... us boys ALL had that poster!

Is a 2018 not still under warranty?

Galley fawcett

We are sure it is still under warranty and we even have an extended warranty by we are 1000 miles from home and our dealer who is worthless anyway. We thought about going to camping world and have them look at it. Like the reply before probably just go buy one and replace ourselves. Love our Glamper but seems to have a lot of lssues and no support from our dealer at all. We call for appointment and they are booked months out. Maybe we do not really understand how to use our warranty correctly. This is a minor annoying issue that we can fix or replace but need to get a better grasp for larger items. Thank you.

Call a mobile R/V tech.
They will come to you and many will get the required prior warranty approval without you needing to do anything.

Thank you

Wow thank you for that information. We will definitely do just that! Heading to Santee, sc today and will be there for a few days and then heading to st Augustine, FL Monday so perhaps we can find someone to take a look at it in one of those locations. Awesome forum to be able to access great information quickly from fellow RV owners. We are relatively new to this but have owned large sailboats in the past. Thanks again!

Palmetto Shores campground? We spent a couple months there waiting for our new house in Charleston to be finished. You'll like it there!
