Gap in awning frame when retracted

Any viewpoints on this? I haven't seen a lot of these new power awnings and wondered if this is normal.

front frame with gap

rear frame

Thanks.

Just went out to the garage and checked ours, doesn't look like that at all. Ours fits nice and snug on both arms.

When my tt was new the awning was off about 1/2" front to back, both ends, which kept it from closing against the tt. The dealer adjusted it and it's good now.

Maybe they can adjust yours as well.

After using ours most of the winter we had the same problem. What I did was to extend the awning---look at where the awning meets the roller and you should see a mark where the awning should be, (dirt mark) pull the awning on the track back to that mark. Than when you roll it back up it should snug up tight, ours did.

Here it is again after fiddling with it today. If someone feels so inclined could you take a pic so I can compare mine to yours?

Thanks,

Baldy

I have the same problem with mine, the front of the awning does not sit flush but the back does, gonna get the dealer to fix it this weekend, when they fix my dvd player.
