Garmin RV 780: The Advanced Anyone use GPS Navigator with RV/Camping Explorer's Bundle

I'm curious to know what you guys think about this GPS navigation device for RV's. I have a thread on here about my experience with a super steep hill and it turned into a debate about navigation vs no navigation. I didn't want my question to get buried in that thread so I posted it separately.

On the description is says:

Custom routing takes into account the size and weight of your RV then finds the best route for your vehicle.

Provides road warnings to keep you aware of steep grades, sharp curves, weight limits and more.

Yep x2 on these. We upgraded to the 890 recently for the bigger screen but they work great.

I’m using the RV890 as well, totally happy with it. It’s probably my 4th or 5th Garmin on various vehicles.

I have the Nuvicam, which I dropped and broke the screen.

I would love to replace it with an RV version, so does anyone know if hey make it with the dash cam too? Of all the ones I have used, Garmin tops them all. Never had a complaint of bad routing using the Nuvicam. Would be awesome to be able to get the same with the trucking or RV guidance.

They do have them with built in dashcams as well.

Can get with or without the dashcam.

I have the garmin 770 and could not be happier. Just recently in Georgia we were told by a private campground to us waze and I was on roads I had no business being on with our travel trailer. I left my garmin on and I should have followed those directions. I would have gotten there without driving thru subdivisions!!!

Thanks for the link, only the 7" has the cam, but going to my Nuvi I found it is 6", so the 785 is larger. I tried using those small dash cams to replace the Garmin, but the use and quality is just not there, and the Rand Mcnally is a freaking tablet with map software, so the camera is not integrated with the map, so no coordinates, time stamp or speed is recorded. Useless for a dash cam. Avoid the RM ones, they are horrible. Garmin or nothing in my book, now to go shopping.

I won't leave home without one.

I have the Garmin RV785 with traffic. I will switch between auto and RV so, I have the dash cam operating all of the time.
